The studio

Two designers, ten years of job sites.

Yanel Haba and Jade Massicotte founded Atelier Tria in 2015. The studio designs residential interiors across Laval, Montréal and the surrounding area: kitchens, bathrooms, basements, whole-home renovations.

We do not stop at the concept. We produce the technical drawings, prepare the quotes, choose the materials and coordinate the trades through to the end of the work. It is the least glamorous part of the job, and the part that decides whether the finished room looks like the drawing.

Our approach

Concept & detail

A project starts with questions: how you cook, where the light falls late in the afternoon, what you are keeping and what you want gone. The answers settle the plan long before anyone mentions colour or materials.

Then come the dimensions. Every element — furniture, lighting, finishes — is chosen for the real, measured room rather than for an inspiration photo. That is what makes a room work as well as it looks.

A good interior shows itself in use.

We treat tone, texture and pattern as one system: what gets touched, what gets cleaned, what ages well. It has to hold up in morning light, under lamplight, and five years from now.

How we work

Three stages

01

Consultation

We come and see the space, survey what is there, and listen to what you want from the room. We leave with the scope of the work and a budget range.

02

Design

Layout plan, selection of materials, furniture and lighting, technical drawings for the millwork and the trades. You sign off before anything is ordered.

03

Delivery

Quotes, schedule, shopping and purchasing. We coordinate the contractors and trades, and follow the site through to the last touch-up.
